The Newmachar Community Council

The Community Council represents the views of residents to Aberdeenshire Council and other public bodies. It has a statutory right to comment on all planning applications including all the major housing developments which will come forward in the next year or so. More generally it enables the provision of various other facilities for Newmachar such as the Newsletter, the Christmas lights and the flower boxes. 

Meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of every month, except July and December, in the Axis Centre at 7:30pm.
